What is the NAB cup? The NAB cup is a preseason competion for the AFl. This is played in a knockout format. The AFL also trial many rules such as the 9 point goal for outside the 50 metre line and play-on after it hits the post.

What is a ruck or Maul? A ruck or Maul is when a player is tackled the laws of rugby say they must release it immediately. Otherwise they are called for holding onto the ball. Many people come in to protect the person with the ball so it is not stolen.
